Remembrance







Whether they wanted to go or not
they mustered up and soldiered on
facing fears of uncertainty and challenge,
giving their energy, their dreams, even their
lives.

We honor all who stepped up and protected us
from threats of annihilation and alienation
from truth beauty love and yes, even
peace.

From our centering calm and meditation
there are times and situations that call
for action, for not keeping silent, for being a
light.

Striking a candle to encourage and guide
has as many manifests as there are dreams.
We have faith thru shadows dark,
back into the space of all beloved hearts.
