Sun up

☀️The sun is up
I fill my kindness cup
The switch is flipped
Into my light I am dipped
Let the day begin
Led by love it's a win/win ❤️
My morning ditty
May not be all that witty
But it leaves me sitting pretty 😍

✨Living in Light, all goes right✨

Around the Garden

Around the garden !!

Trees are calling me
Sending invitation by smiling leaves
Colorful butterflies are aso there
flowers are waiting for honoring me
Birds are singing peaceful music
Cool & fragrant Winds are also present
A soft & silky green bed sheet is ready
For sharing
A cup of goodness
A minute of happiness
A tale of natural treasure
A song of natural music
A scene of natural beauty & creativity
A message of peace & love…
A message of peace & love…

Properties Of Rainbows.

dance
upon the walls of my heart
singing
with the voice of angels.

Harmonies blend in arias
blessed
of transcending colors that
lift
me onto another realm.

There, the me that I thought
I was
flies past all preconception
certain

in the wonders beheld.

Reaching out in the embrace
a knowingness settles into me.

I am calmed and loved.

Love Lives Within Us

She stands alone, on top of the hill.
She views the world around her with a clear and steady gaze.
She sees its beauty and its scars.
She feels its joys and its sorrows.
She hears the sounds of life, the birds and the bees, the voices raised in praise and those raised in anger.
She stands among us.
She feels unconditional love for all that is, in the way that it is in that moment.
She shines her love for all to see and feel.
She is loved by many but not by all.
She takes no actions but allows for others to find their own way.
She is there to support and guide but only when asked.
She accepts herself for who she is, without judgment or shame.
She is mother, father, sister and brother.
She is infant, child, adult and older.
She is timeless.
She lives within each and every one of us.
She is love.

(As a suggestion, read through this post again and replace she and she is with I and I am. Each of us has the capacity to love and be loved, if only we acknowledge and accept it. Please feel free to share, if you are so inspired. )

Atlas

Cutting old road map atlas of the USA into paper squares for making doves ❤️🕊🌎.

We had used the atlas on many a journey. What better way to recycle those many miles and roads?

Is a contemplative exercise of place awareness:
Where we are.
Where others are.
How Peace and Love are our true connect.
How I am doing my small bit to encourage.

In the wing of each dove goes this blessing:

Paper dove of Peace
Guide without cease,
Our journey our road
In traveling life flowed.
Bless us with grace
Past uncertain space,
With acts being kind
Most grateful we find.

May this dove always lead you in
the direction of peace, my friend.
Blessings, mindyjourney

Comfortable silence

Comfortable silence
sits on the sill
sheltered with the ledge
of the listening deeper.
Shall I fish it from the wind
flowing the curtains
fluttering as a freedom’s wink?
Or maybe, I will peer
thru the glass lightly
fogging a heart-shaped spot
that is as transitory
as the moment
that has now slipped into
the past
where the cardinal’s song reverberates
from the bare-boned scrub willows.
Wrapping myself in the afghan’s colors
I know to take the weave
and string a lifeline to whatever
will transpire.

Let me not be so guarded

Let me not be so guarded
Thinking that I, and I alone,
Only know
What I want or need.

Lest I let pass
Those blissful, magical,
Unexpected moments
That come my way, not at all by chance.

May I notice and experience,
And gratefully cherish
What has been, what may be coming,
And what is Now.

Hope

HOPE

Do you wear a mask for the world
to see?
When all of you,  inside, longs to
be free?
A prison, a cage, in which you’re enclosed,
A smile on your face so no one else knows.
A life of pretense of what lies inside,
Where your friends and your family
Don’t see the lies.
Despair and torment, sorrow and fear.
These things that have followed you
Year after year.
No strength on the inside,
to muster a shout,
For walls to come down and to find a way out.
In the midst of the day,
When you’re lying in bed.
With horrible thoughts,
Going round in your head.
It feels like you’re caught in a Spider’s Web…..
And you wish you were dead!.....

In the midst of the turmoil
you hear a
small voice
Telling you softly that you have a choice.
You don't have to suffer or walk on your own. Through the storms and the trials you were never alone.

The still small voice
It sounds like love
Reminding me softly that He is enough…..

And he said......
‘Those things that you suffer. I suffered them too.
There in the Garden I did it for you.
Reach out your hand and put it in mine. This journey we’re on.
Well it will take time.
But we’ll walk it together.
Safe in my love. Drawing strength from my Father in heaven above.
When the fear overtook me
I gave out a cry.
Forsaken... I thought, but that was a lie.
My Father was with me though I could not see.
I reached out in despair and he strengthened me.
Then I knew what I had to do.
And what I did, I did for you! Crucified upon a tree. I laid down my life so you would be free.'

Reach out and let me take your hand. Now you know I understand. Everything you’re going through.
All I have revealed is true.
So special child open the door.
So that I can show you more.

My love for you will cast out fear. You will learn I'm always here. When dark thoughts are in your head. Reach out and talk to me instead!

For a new beginning

Spring officially begins with the Spring Equinox which is today! This event marks the astronomical first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere.

For a New Beginning by John O'Donohue

In out-of-the-way places of the heart,
Where your thoughts never think to wander,
This beginning has been quietly forming,
Waiting until you were ready to emerge.

For a long time it has watched your desire,
Feeling the emptiness growing inside you,
Noticing how you willed yourself on,
Still unable to leave what you had outgrown.

It watched you play with the seduction of safety
And the gray promises that sameness whispered,
Heard the waves of turmoil rise and relent,
Wondered would you always live like this.

Then the delight, when your courage kindled,
And out you stepped onto new ground,
Your eyes young again with energy and dream,
A path of plenitude opening before you.

Though your destination is not yet clear
You can trust the promise of this opening;
Unfurl yourself into the grace of beginning
That is at one with your life's desire.

Awaken your spirit to adventure;
Hold nothing back, learn to find ease in risk;
Soon you will be home in a new rhythm,
For your soul senses the world that awaits you.

Welcome Spring Equinox

Love is...

A Poem by Elizabeth Skyraven

Life is Love, enjoy it.
Life is Light, shine it.
Life is peace, show it.
Life is truth, know yours.

Life is joy, revel in it.
Life is hope, believe in it.
Life is harmony, vibrate in it.
Life is unity, connect to it.

Life is your dream, live it.
Life is your choice, choose it.
Life is your story, narrate it.
Life is love, be and give it.

Love is co-creation, create it.
Love is eternal, remember it.
Love is All There Is, BE IT.
Love is Peace, LIVE it.

Happy Trails

By T Henry at Gratefulness.org

Sun barely risen
So too am I
Another August mornin’
Punchin’ doggies

Feels like far
Since I left my mam and pap
Wrote em’ once
Think I was in Arkansas

Man said head west son
There’s good land for the takin’
Sweet water runs along the ridge
Good grazin’ as far as the eye can see

Best keep movin’ the herd
Gotta reach New Mexico by November
Some good ol’ boys helpin’ the ol’ man
Makes the saddle ride a bit smoother

When she’s done
Might just set a spell
Arizona in December
Seems about right

Nothin’ finer then sun settin’ on the trail
Me and the boys sittin’ round the fire
Tall tales about runin’ cattle
Taller still about the loves
Won & lost along the way

It’s a good life
Yes sir, a good ol’ life

Tingles

Love has tingled me
down
to
my toes
and lightened me up
to ride a rainbow's expose.

Love has cooed
in my arms rocked with a lullaby,
and I felt my heart open
wider and fly.

Love has caressed me on the whirling wind,
settling into the space
between my earthly ribs
fueling each breath with grace.

Love has dashed me
upon the rocks as well,
giving me time and impermanence
to wear away the sorrowful swell.

Love has filled all the
apparent gaps
with a deep knowing of a forever-after
abiding happiness.

Weaving A New Quilt of Humanity

A fav of Mish over at Kindspring.org

The old threads are unraveling,
Get your needles ready.
We are stitching a new quilt
of humanity.
Bring your old t-shirts,
worn out jeans, scarves,
antique gowns, aprons,
old pockets of plenty
who have held Earth's treasures,
stones, feathers, leaves,
love notes on paper.
Each stitch
A mindful meditation.
Each piece of material
A story.
The more color the better,
so call in the tribes.
Threads of browns, whites,
reds, oranges
Women from all nations
start stitching.
Let's recycle the hate, the abuse,
the fear, the judgment.
Turn it over, wash it clean,
ring it out to dry.
It's a revolution
of recycled wears.
Threads of greens, blues, purples
Colorful threads
of peace, kindness,
respect, compassion
are being stitched
from one continent to the next
over forests, oceans, mountains.
The work is hard
Your fingers may bleed.
But each cloth stitched together
Brings together a community.
A world, our future world
Under one colorful quilt.
The new quilt of humanity." 🕊

Why Waiting?

Rare are those moments, still
Afternoon or early night, vanished thrill,
Before i dare again to raise my voice,
Broken first, then steadier, with poise,
In praise of my creators' love, one song
Tension vanishes, why waiting ever so long?

Early Mornings

I love early mornings
when it feels like the rest of the world is still asleep
you’re the only one who’s awake.
You kind of forget about all your problems
because for now
its just you, the world and the sunrise

A new need

I have a new need for quiet.
The kind that rings in my head.
The silence that causes my ears to pose as radar dishes
picking up any nuance or tinkling scuff of a noise.
Out of the ordinary or familiar,
each sound shouts like fire to my burning.
There are no extinguishing these flames,
only the watering space between the vibratory feel
of this physical plane and maybe something
just out of touch, but coming closer,
riding the waves of the barely almost heard.
Blanketed and cozied, refracted and resplendent,
I allow myself to sink into the brink of a ledge
with unseen leaps.

Piglet's Song

Piglet's Song (A fav of Mish over at Kindspring.org)

"Let's find a Way today,
that can take us to tomorrow.
We'll follow that Way,
A Way like flowing water.

Let's leave behind,
the things that do not matter.
And we'll turn our lives,
to a more important chapter.

Let's take the time and try to find,
what real life has to offer.
And maybe then we'll find again,
what we had long forgotten.
Like a friend, true 'til the end,
it will help us onward.

The sun is high, the road is wide,
and it starts where we are standing.
No one knows how far it goes,
for the road is never-ending.

It goes away,
beyond what we have thought of.
It flows away,
Away like flowing water."

~ Benjamin Hoff ~

Love is...

Love is the sound of a man who worked all day and struggled in the cold and dark under the house attempting to fix a drainage issue by flashlight.

Love is a hot cup of tea and an egg just the way you like it so you don't go out into the snow and cold without being warmed by love first.

Love is putting one foot in front of the other day after day even when you might want to give up.

Love is hugs, lots and lots of hugs, an inexhaustible supply of hugs.

Love is a prayer of safety that follows you like a happy cloud wherever you go.

Love is caring enough to listen, and listening enough to care.

Love is seeing the beauty beneath another's scars, and your own, as well.

Love is being willing to take the time.

Poems which are tears

I've heard poems as tears.

They fell from hearts broken,
too stricken to mend without
a voice.

They coursed through the body
felt in each cell
as a wailing forth of grief.

There is no denying
what even cannot be faced,
for the release must flow.

Deeper in the channel
the tears were caught,
mired in the sorrow.

Clutching at the words
swirling in the eddying pools
of why and what-ifs,
the poems took form.

Tossed as lifelines;
rooted in memories
and reaching toward the Light,
aching to bloom again,

the
poems
dropped
distilled
upon the page.
